Come stay at an authentic Adirondack 'castle', which has been hosting guests for over a century. First occupied in 1895, Stoneleigh has been restored to its original splendor, with upgrades, and is now operated as group lodging.
While located in the inlet of Elizabethtown, NY, you'll experience spaciousness on Stoneleigh's on 2.5 acres while still being within walking distance of restaurants, a grocery store, museum, and more. As the gateway to the high peaks, Elizabethtown is less than 30 miles from Lake Placid and Lake Champlain.
Stoneleigh has bed accommodations for 13 with five bedrooms, and it has four (4) bathrooms: two (2) full bathrooms, and two (2) half-bathes. The castle-like home features an impressive main hall, large living room with grand piano, a library, dining room, a beautiful new kitchen (2021) and front porch. There is a brook running through the front of the property.

"Wow wow wow this house is amazing! Absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Stunning features, cozy bedrooms, plenty of space to spend time with family and friends. The location is great as well- super close to ADK high peak wilderness and more. Grocery store, gas station, pharmacy all within walking distance along with a great pizza/deli that’s only a few minute walk from the house. A few restaurants are only a short drive away as well.
Anna is a lovely host and lightning quick to respond.

"My husband and I brought our family to Stoneleigh for a weekend to celebrate our elopement. The house is absolutely stunning, and Anna is an amazing host. We had everything we could have needed! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and we all LOVED the coffee bar. Stoneleigh is also a perfect location to sightsee in the ADK, and the brochures for different things to do close by was a great touch. This was the perfect place and I’m so glad we chose to stay!"

"Stoneleigh was absolutely beautiful! We decided on a whim to take an adventure with our 3 children and knew immediately we wanted “the castle”! It was breathtaking to drive up to, and walking in took us back in time in the best way! The house was everything we hoped for and more! Large, impressive, clean spaces. Beautiful art. Time period correct furniture. Amazing!! We’d love to stay again!"
